The first mini-laptops, Toshiba is fairly predictable on the whole. The Toshiba NB100 has a brilliant 8.9 inch display with 1024×600 resolution, comes with a choice of XP or Ubuntu Linux, has a webcam, microphone, WiFi, Bluetooth (no 3G yet), up to 120 GB hard drive and Of course, an Intel Atom processor.
Toshiba may have identified what is a netbook, but what's the difference? Toshiba already has an impressive array ofLaptops, including the Toshiba Portégé R500-10U, and are working hard to maintain its brand and build quality go hand in hand. For this reason, Toshiba claim, people will buy the NB100 - because it is a Toshiba mini-laptop.
