The 1005HA is a great Netbook. It 'very fast to run everything you can find on the internet running out of HD video. I used in business meetings to replace the card (Evernote). I did not do an appropriate test of the battery, but I can tell you it is all day at work and I can not even bring the power cord from the house.
What is not a substitute for a laptop, if you want to do something more than normal web browsing and document editing. This is a fantastic 2 or 3 computers, but should not be the only PC in most cases.
Also, I upgraded to Windows 7, and it works quite well. No complaints. The only problem is that there is currently correct driver for webcam (in Windows 7, it works fine in XP).
Problems (all minors) —
Hinges of the measure are a bit 'tight and do little to help the tab that opens is a bit' smaller. Not a problem unless you try to open it while walking (which may lead to a very slight decrease).
The mouse is also a bit 'stiff, and it took some' getting used to. And 'good after a few weeks.
It 'also a fingerprint magnet … it is also something to worry about.
Until the new generation of home Intel Netbook (codenamed Pineview) appears at the beginning of 2010, is easily the best purchase 1005HA Netbook can be done, in my opinion. I looked at many other brands, and EEE PC build quality seems better for everyone, including Acer, which seemed to be on par.
